Pyramid Pan Dot Dog Treats

These are called dot treats simply because they are made in a silicone baking sheet with hundreds of little round ‘dot’ molds in it. You can of course use any shaped mold – it doesn’t have to be a dot mold. You can get a dot pan like mine here.

Pyramid Pan Dog Treats – Tuna Dots Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4.5oz / 160gr can tuna in water – don’t drain off the water (Use another type of canned fish if you prefer)
  • 1 medium egg including the shell
  • 50gr steamed butternut squash / pumpkin (you could use ready made pumpkin puree)

Instructions

  • Pre-heat the oven to 180degC
  • Blitz all the ingredients in a food processor until it’s a mush. It should have a thick, batter-like consistency.
  • Pour it over the silicone baking sheet or Pyramid Pan sheet. Use a spatula or other flat implement to push the mixture into all the holes.Try to leave the surface of the pan as clean as possible – it makes for tidier treats!
  • Bake for 20 minutes at 180degC (160 fan assisted), then tip the treats out onto a tray and leave them in the oven for another 10 minutes, with the oven turned off and the door very slightly ajar to let the moisture escape.
